Hello there. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the web.  My goal with this site will be as it’s always been,  and that is to pay tribute to the man, son, brother, friend and musician who was  Stevie Ray Vaughan.

I never had the opportunity to meet Stevie. I never got to see him perform live in person which has always been one of my greatest regrets. However, I’ve been able to get to know him a little through the generosity of his family, his friends, fellow musicians and the fans around the world who loved and admired him. They’ve shared  the Stevie they knew with me and I’ll always be grateful for that.

I’ve been a fan of Stevie’s music since I first heard it back in 1983.   “Texas Flood” pretty much changed my view on what qualifies as good music forever.  His subsequent releases only continued to affirm and strengthen that belief.

After finding some online SRV groups in the late 90s and participating with them for a while, I took my Yahoo screen name (in hindsight, not the most ideal domain name) and decided to use it to create a simple one page tribute to his memory back in 2002.  Well, it grew beyond that single page with the help of many others who have so generously supported me over the years.

In addition to the gift of great music Stevie gave me, I’ve been blessed with wonderful friendships both in person as well as those I’ve come to know solely through having this web site.  Since we no longer have Stevie here with us, we share him together online.  I’m grateful to be a small part of that community.

There are several talented artists who have kindly allowed me to display their paintings, graphics and tributes. You’ll find them in the ARTISTS category pages.  Be sure to stop by that part of the site before leaving.

On a personal note – if you were to look at my iPod you’d find a mixture of Blues, Rock n’ Roll, Country, R&B and gospel.  I live in the Southeast and know that just because we Southern women talk with an accent that sounds sweet and pure, that doesn’t mean we should ever be considered a pushover.  I share my life with a rambunctious puggle named Daisy and a husband that is more of a blessing than I deserve.  I am a breast cancer survivor and grateful for each and every day.
